With the addition of Neu!’s Michael Rother, Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Deiter Moebius’ Cluster morphed into Harmonia, a sort of kosmische supergroup. Second studio album ‘Deluxe’ possessed an avant-garde edge typical of Cluster’s work yet Rother’s motorik pulse came out stronger. Here, we see them experiment with vocals for the first time on 'Deluxe (Immer Weider)' and the inclusion of Guru Guru drummer Mani Neumier who radiates on the wandering 'Walky Talky'. Carrying the credits of legendary studio producer Konrad ‘Conny’ Plank, ‘Deluxe’ has all the hallmarks of a krautrock classic.
