As if Lisbon’s blossoming underground scene wasn’t already choc-a-bloc with enormous talent, DJ Marco Rodrigues aka Photonz comes out with the crepuscular, rock the floorboards left-field techno of Nuit. Startlingly confident for a debut LP — what else would you expect of someone with a decade-plus pedigree behind the decks and as a key figure of the monthly queer-friendly, sex-positive Mina parties in Lisbon? — Nuit does what all good dance music ought to: unite those at the margins.
