Aids Wolf are from Montreal and they have been produced by one of the guys from Wolf Eyes. They make a storming arty noisy racket from a fairly average rock set up, which reminds of both Wolf Eyes themselves and early Sonic Youth (but with the energy of Melt Banana). It's one of those albums that you won't like at first (if you come to it unprepared) as it's a rather shocking atonal blast but on second listen the mess becomes organised and exciting.
