Floorplan on Aus Music makes sense - so many of the other acts who’ve passed through Will Saul’s label have been influenced by Robert Hood’s music that, after a while, it only feels right to go to the source. Here we find Hood and his daughter Lyric turning in another pair of deep, evocative and elegant minimal techno rollers. The latent gospel and soul influences that always run through Flooplan’s work is brought out further by Carol Otis’s vocal on ‘His Eye Is On The Sparrow’.
