Optimo Music’s Selva Discos imprint comes out with the fourth release in its Brasingles series, a joint venture with Augusto Olivani — aka Trepanado — designed to reissue the best of the Brazilian underground. This time around we hear from Taciana, original singer of Brazilian new wavers Gang 90 e as Absurdettes, with her brooding slow burner single ‘Tudo Faz Sentido’, taken from her 1995 solo album Janela dos Sonhos. As if side A’s original cut wasn’t hypnotic enough, this 12” includes an even longer recut on the flip side.
