Russian producer Pavel Milyakov — aka Buttechno — bounces labels yet again for an outrageously tasty slice of minimal techno, INSTRUMENT №7. Allegiants will already know the score: a smattering of tracks, all small but incredibly powerful, designed to knock your circadian rhythms out of whack. Buttechno doubles down on his less is more approach this time around, finding the psychedelic groove in CD skips, breakneck hand claps and acid knob-twiddling tomfoolery.
