Russian brothers Sasha and Sergey Lipsky — aka Simple Symmetry — resurrect their profane art on Berlin-via-Tel Aviv imprint Disco Halal. Kraut chug, heavy psych and left field house beats coalesce to reinvent a ritualistic form on Gilgamesh. These grooves are ridden by demonic vocals and snaking woodwind, writ large on the devilishly funky title track, featuring the production prowess of Inigo Vontier. This is disco music for those who prefer the freakier end of the dancefloor.
