Edinburgh label Athens Of The North revive a deeply psychedelic 1970 soul cut by Symphonic Four. Originally released on St Louis, Missouri label Zudan, Who Do You Think You’re Fooling is meted out in two short but sweet parts, both amounting to two distinct strains; the first a straight-up soul classic in a US West coast tradition, the second a dubbed out excursion into places unknown, levitational with an oracular vocals, yet never skimping on that groove.
