At acid house’s infancy, back when London was only just starting to catch on, the Warriors Dance label was one of the genre’s early adopters. Label head Tony Addis founded the notorious Addis Abba studio, and the heart of the city’s rave scene began to beat. Addis gave more still as Melancholy Man, and Precaution is one of his finest gifts. Rereleased here on the original label, this is timeless, acid-drenched break-beat goodness crystallised.
