Israeli duo Red Axes drop the second installment in their Trips EP series. As might be apparent from the title, the pair flew to Vietnam in order to create the tracks of Trips #2: Vietnam. Collaborating with an array of local musicians, Red Axes turn in a quartet of lively, Balearified disco-house tracks. ‘Ho Chi Min’, propelled along by an ultra-funky bassline, is particularly lively. Trips #2: Vietnam closes out with ‘Hue’, an excursion into tech-house.
