Aasthma are an oddball duo made up of Pär Grindvik and Peder Mannerfelt. On Only The Appraiser, the first EP to drop through their new Aasthma Records imprint, the pair put their leftfield techno sensibilities to great use. The title track is the main attraction here - ‘Only The Appraiser’ is a swirling, billowing minimal club tool that could pass for something from KiNK’s Under Destruction. Prior to this, we have the short, sharp ‘Das wars dann Leute’ to usher us into Only The Appraiser.
