Theo Parrish’s Sound Signature imprint has decided to reissue his 2002 collaborations with Marcellus Pittman. About time, we say! Essential Selections, Vol. 2 sees Parrish and Pittman (whose first name is spelled ‘Marsellus’ on the record) turn in three pieces of effortless, elegant deep house. The minimal trot on ‘Evidence Of The 5th Green Foot’, ‘Questions Comments’ and ‘Equality Of Patience’ is simply sublime and will still do great business on the floor all these years later.
