Four years on from his previous LP -(The Golden Communion, also Editions Mego) and Thighpaulsandra returns to the fray. Practical Electronics With Thighpaulsandra finds the Welsh artist delving ever deeper into the world of theatrical concrete and electroacoustic composition. Much of the music here has similarities with the outlandish modern music-hall style of late Scott Walker, albeit with the focus moved from voice to synthesisers. Throbbing Gristle are another obvious influence in the world of Practical Electronics With Thighpaulsandra.
