Songs About People’s Feelings is another run of cool, classy club fare from the former Rhythm Section International/Church men. The four tunes on this EP are pure south London dance floor goodness, all Moodymann drums, electro-funk keys and lo-fi breaks. There is also a newfound psychedelic house influence that proves a welcome addition to their sound - the heady combination of spoken word vocals and hazy acid groove on ‘B Glaser’ could pass for D Tiffany. DJ Morris features on the Smallville Records-indebted opener ‘Encounters’.
