Jungle return just in time to catch the end of summer. Following the huge success of their debut album the duo swapped their native London for the warmer climes of Los Angeles. The change of scenery has given new LP For Ever an additional sun-kissed feel that builds on their established blue-eyed-funk sound. Two of For Ever’s prime cuts are issued on wax here courtesy of XL. ‘Heavy, California’ is a dreamy psychedelic number that recalls the recent collaboration between Khruangbin and Maribou State. On the flip, ‘Cherry’ is a tranquil jam that could pass for something from Damon Albarn’s solo output.
