Like him or lump him, you have to admit that Omar S is good at what he does. You’d be hard-pressed to name another artist who’s consistently banged out high-grade club traxx for fifteen years. ‘That’s Me’ doesn’t upset that rhythm, and it also sees S paying tribute to his past. The track flips a sample that he used to construct his hit ‘Days’ way back in 2004, though ‘That’s Me’ draws more widely on its source material. Either way, it’s a bumping, shuffling joy of a house jam that’ll be getting multiple rotations throughout the coming summer. Out, as always, via S’s own FXHE imprint.
