Helix was one of the most innovative voices to emerge from the fertile early days of Night Slugs Records, but the producer has been laying low for a few years now. So what better time for him to re-introduce himself than around the label’s tenth birthday. He’s been busy in his time away from the spotlight - his new series for the label, a ‘Greatest Hits’ compilation that actually focuses on original material, runs to three volumes. The third instalment contains ten tracks of the fun, futuristic dancefloor jams that made Helix’s name all those years ago. Good to have him back.
