Mutant digi dub steppers galore from Born Free’s Samo DJ and Hidden Operator. Using the cheap Streetboxx sampler and hiding away in HO’s studio the pair have been working away on four short riddims in true Euro dub style. Think Hey-O-Hansen or Tapes but edging on the cleaner side of things and you’ve got the idea. ‘I Was a Rude Boy’ shows the sampler in full effect, vocal manipulations and tension building rhythms combining to work the floor into a trance.
