South London dub enthusiasts Bokeh Versions drop a limited cassette of bass-weight meditations from Mars89. Built by one of the core members of Tokyo crew Chopstick Killahz, the Lucid Dream EP is heavy, full of mystery and nests on the fringes of gqom, dancehall and grime. The reggae vibes shine through most on ‘Biological Tides’, an interesting combination of vocals and sparse drum arrangements. Mars89 recently started a residency with Bristol’s tight knit Noods Radio crew, one of the latest (and sickest) independent radio stations to start gaining traction worldwide! Highly recommended if you’re into Zam Zam sounds.
