Made up of legendary producer Zed Bias and UK stalwart MCs Trigga, Specialist Moss and Killa Benz, Madd Again! return to Manchester’s Swing Ting label for their strongest release to date. ‘Bawlout’, a tune long-thought to be a dubplate reserved for a handful of selectors, has been turning over dances up and down the country for at least five years and finally sees the light of day. Other highlights include the Jungle-tinged Bashment of smokers’ anthem ‘Bun Down’ which features UK Garage/Ragga and the Benji B sampling ‘Brand New Dubplate’ which sees all three MCs riding an unmistakably Zed Bias riddim that will motivate the neck muscles of even the most stoic ravers. Blending UK Funky percussion, a Garage swing, nods to Grime and Jungle with heavyweight, intertwining Dancehall flows all the tunes on this EP will be deeply embedded in selectors’ crates for the foreseeable future.
