The last in Swindle’s Trilogy of Funk Series on Butterz and available on limited edition vinyl. Purple Walls is a huge departure from Swindle’s usual sound, with no trace of the signature bass and beats. Title track ‘Purple Walls’ is a lazy synth groover, while ‘Sympathy’ brings the full funk. The B side is led by drowsy vocals in ‘Saturn’s Return’ and the soulful sounds of Terri Walker in ‘New Life.’
