Gorgeous and authentic sonic deepness from Eno collaborator and ambient pioneer Harold Budd, working with Italian producer Eraldo Bernocchi to create timeless electronic soundscapes, track ‘Two’ even sounding like some mutated fourth world trip-hop. Released via Belgian archivists Sub Rosa, ‘Fragments from the Inside’ could be the lost soundtrack to Murakami-esque Tokyo jazz cafe. Prepare to take a trip to the deepest realms of your imagination! Very different to the early work of both composers, but a testament to their innovation that they can still manage to sound futuristic.
