The mushroom-made sculpture that occupies the front of the latest instalment to the Fabriclive series is far more enigmatic than the music it houses would suggest, which, to be frank, is full of big room, four to the floor heaters! Hannah Wants is the mind behind the mix, which includes five of her own productions. It also joins the dots between producers like Josh Butler, Four Tet, Alex Coulton before closing out with How To Dress Well’s ‘Cold Nites’. As is the case with all the mixes in this series, it’s made to work on the dancefloor, but could just as easily soundtrack your time spent getting ready for the weekend.
