Tom Krell’s fourth album Care comes off the back of a quiet couple of years no doubt spent busy in the studio. With lead single ‘Lost Youth/Lost You’ doing the rounds over the last few weeks, and a massive tour planned for the next three months, there is a lot of hype surrounding Care. It’s a far cry from his emotional cover of ‘Blue Crystal Fire’ (which introduced us to his work) but what he manages to craft over the twelve tracks is a strong, warm atmosphere that stretches the boundaries between r&b and downtempo synth-pop.
