This is ruffneck drum & bass with passages of chilling industrial – the clank of the piston, the hiss of the conveyor belt. ‘Sleep Terror’ begins crouching, waiting, ready to engage, before unspooling into bass heavy dubstep with headache inducing percussion. ‘Cavity’ gets by on dive-bombing bass and occasional jungle crackle. ‘Buzzkill’ rarely lets up with its thunderous onslaught, while on ‘Colony’ the swarming textures rise to the surface.
