The latest drop from Soukie & Windish arrives courtesy of URSL (Lake People, Christopher Schwarzwälder). Loom is another selection of finely-crafted tech-house from the German duo. By and large the tracks here are rolling DJ tools of the Innervisions school. That means pitter-patter four-on-the-floors, slowly evolving synth loops and, on cuts like ‘Jaglion’, the occasional effervescent melody sequence. Occasionally the pair drop the drums out to focus more on atmosphere - the moody opening to ‘Book Of Disquiet’, for instance.
