Norwegian disco deity Prins Thomas branches off from his much-loved Full Pupp imprint with a debut release on sub-label Rett I Fletta. Across the four cuts of the Blusketuta EP, Thomas keeps things geared for the club albeit with the standard sprinkling of Scandinavian eccentricities starting with the bitty disco-tinged techno pomp of the title cut and its more functional ‘Trommeversjon’ sibling. Turning over, we’re presented with a track the majority will fail to pronounce in ‘Hænn E Mye Grøvre Enn Øss’, although its steadily chugging, acidic appeal is universal, whilst ‘Trulte Smultpurke’ continues to channel the same vibrations to round of typically left-of-centre EP from the veteran.
