As a solo artist and as one half of the duo Kollaps, Prayer was briefly associated with Zomby’s label Cult Music and remixed Darkstar on Warp Records. Nowadays he is involved with his own label/collective, Grade10, who specialise in club-primed tracks with a melancholic edge. On the Beneath EP, Prayer introduces his strain of melodic, rainy-night club music that evokes the sort of mood that artists like Oneohtrix Point Never, Burial, and Mssingno have explored over the years.
