Deewee, the label headed by David & Stephen Dewaele of Soulwax/2manydjs fame, drop their second 12”, this time coming from mysterious newcomers Klanken. We say ‘newcomers’, but there’s every possibility that this is just the Dewaele’s playing pranks on us – ‘Drie’ and ‘Twee’ both have the duo’s fingerprints over them, from the lurching arpeggios and heavy drums to the punchy mixdowns. Regardless of who made it, this is proper good, unfussy, but seriously fun dance music.
