Fresh new imprint emanating out of Glasgow gets their new campaign underway with The First Annual Fundraiser – War Child, bringing together a well-rounded roster of diverse artists together for a stunning compilation that aims to raise money for children affected by war. Aside from being for an excellent cause, each of the nine pieces are truly mind-blowing, such as the new-age tinged, deep house of ‘Grafta’ from UK producer Lord Of The Isles, ethnic ambience on ‘Djansa’ by Daniel Waples or the smooth, hardware configurations from M>O>S man ASOK. Ever-present veteran Move D gets involved with his sunken, moody house number ‘Tapps Aff For Glasow’, whilst The Burrell Connection covers tougher, acid-laced territory with ‘Acid Rapids’.
