Kompakt’s long-running Speicher Series returns with a heavyweight plate from Italian production duo Hunter/Game, their second contribution to the series following 83 earlier this year. The A side, ‘Adaptation’ features a growling bass hook that threatens –in the best way- a driving groove and subsonic bloops and bleeps. Flip side for ‘The Path’ an exemplary production building and building to digital-release- like many of the best Kompakt 12’s do. Solid wares.
