Psychedelic wonderings from one of the great Englishmen, Alan Watts for the ever on-point Numero Group. A kaleidoscopic view of new age, psychedelia and alternative rock all executed with a precision that was of great influence to the beat generation & the 60s counter-culture's spirituality of which William S. Burroughs was also a hugely influential figure. Originally released in a micro run 'This Is It!' first came to light in 1962 but soon disappeared into the underground, and at a time when small-run records were hugely hard to come by and LP's were even deleted! (Imagine that in our internet-savvy world of two-clicks-to-get-a-whole-discography of some of the most underground and unknown artists in the world) In a similar vein to some of the recent discoveries dug up by Trunk, to the countryside wide exploration of the Folklore Tapes imprint, it's a real pleasure to have this great lost LP of British psychedelia available once again.
