Night Slugs affiliate and East London Club Trax boss Alex Deamonds vamps up his white label productions for this first part in a series of digital releases. Having a history as a pirate radio listener and excessive vinyl single collector, the DJ/producer has been paying tribute to the white label format ethos with his physical release series over the past couple of years. White Labels 1 combines remastered material from said twelve-inches, displaying Deamonds’ musical journey from 8-bar styled snare jams such as ‘Air Max ‘97’ to the club ready, harder hitting rhythmical structures like ‘Through’ or ‘Glandular Fever’.
