The relentless productivity of Stephen Bishop's Opal Tapes continues with this release from Masks, a collaboration between Alexis Georgopoulos and OT mainstay Patricia. Murky swollen beats meet shifting sonic patterns, somewhere between the jut why house of Huerco S. and the field recordings of Wanda Group. 'Wormhole' is a lengthy jam, at once emotive and direct. Stop-start percussion and filtered moods shape 'Vapors', while Zebra drives forward with unshaken intensity. 'Fragile Feelings' closes things out with expansive synth lines and jerky percussion, rounding out a sterling collection.
