Capping off the Hyperdub 10 compilation series in fine style, Decadubs 5 features among other things a never-before-released track from the elusive Burial. 'Lambeth' is a future South London anthem, picking up where 'Wolf Cub' left off, the track finds Burial in a contemplative mood, proper late night backseat bus window illuminated by the stars gear, woodblock percussion rolling along while synths sparkle through the cold night air. The rest of the double pack does not disappoint; the first 12" features the late night jamz of Cooly G's 'Love Again' and the Kode9 epic 'Oh' while the second 12" features future UKF anthem 'Vice Versa' from Funkystepz. Cooly G's 'Him Da Biz', Hyperdub staple DVA's creeping 'Monophonic Nightmare' and a killer reworking of Martyn's 'Mega Drive Generation' by Dorian Concept. All in all a great end to a killer series of releases celebrating ten years at the top, here's to ten more!
