Rotterdam’s Moustache Records resume their Italo run of releases with a swaggering single. The Problems, a dark wave outlet from the Netherlands, introduce their electronic sounding drum machines and basic synth chords in the most serious manner. The cheesy piano melodies and catchy chorus sequence take their Italo approach to the next level. Rotterdam-local and long-time label affiliate David Vunk changes the track’s vibe by speeding up the whole thing and adding some sharp 909 hi-hats.
