Barcelona’s John Talabot and Sweden’s Axel Boman join forces as Talaboman and issue the first fruit of their exciting new union. ‘Sideral’ is hypnotic house cut driven by shuffling tribal percussion and chunky bass stabs. The pair masterfully layer strobe-lit synths and swelling pads, building to a blissful climax before dropping the bass for maximum impact. Cologne-based producer Matt Kermil adds a techno edge to his tightly wound remix, thanks to his stuttering arpeggios and clean, quantized drum work, while Talabot and Boman tack on the punchy ‘BCN’ version, a digital exclusive.
