Composer Dan Berridge (who has been releasing as Broadway Project for almost ten years) reunites with long time collaborator Matthew Bourne for a stunning album on ODS Recordings. Written between the two musicians homes of Bristol and North Yorkshire over the autumn of 2013, its a tender collection of wintry instrumentation, quavering strings and warm piano, every sound radiating a delicate soulfulness. The ebb and flow of 'February' is captivating, while 'Alive' and 'BDG' are move with a quietly dark intensity. An album with an undeniably magical quality to it.
