Midlight Records hits three with a huge split release with veteran Dutch pair Duplex sharing the EP with Trilogy Tapes affiliate Tuff Sherm. Duplex take the A-side dropping ‘Population Density’ which oozes deep techno soul with its light brushes, celestial melodies and bold, rubbery bass line. On the B-side Tuff Sherm unleashes an epic percussive adventure in ‘Drain Spectre (After Virgo)’, bringing together conga drumming, whiffs of vocals and stacked harmonies for an extended, tripping jaunt.
