Chicago DJ and producer Ron Trent released all time techno classic 'Altered States' while still in high school in 1990 and has been producing and Djing since. Much of his earlier work is now being reissued by Chiwax, including this 1992 EP, originally for Clubhouse Records. ‘Love Affair’ is one of Trent’s more soulful releases, a deep house cut that is given various edits across the EP: from a string-backed diva vocal mix to a bass heavy variation on the original.
