Glasgow rockers The Amazing Snakeheads present their abrasive debut on Domino. Jagged guitar riffs and searing vocals collide with angry, tortured basslines. With snarled, unvarnished vocals, this is music that screams of sweaty basement clubs and savagely documented emotion. 'Where Is My Knife?' hints at a more populist sensibility, eschewing the swinging darkness that came before, while 'Every Guy Wants To Be Her Baby' is a nightmarish effort that evokes Tom Waits. An intriguing debut here, filled with bloody emotion.
