South London Ordnance returns to his own Aery Metals label for another releases that mines the shadowiest corners of techno and UK dance floor sounds. 'Dead Cell' opens the release, a spell-binding trip through flexing drums, spectral atmospheres and some trippy organ that revels in the darkness and sinister ambiguities inherent in the most creative drum & bass music. The b-side is equally powerful, with 'Portal II (Girls Talk About Acid)' letting a female vocal rise up and settle amongst deep chords and static-drowned acid touches.
