Respected DJ and part of the Cómeme crew, Christian S reveals his debut solo EP following a few scarce inclusions on various other compilation releases. As with the 2010 Cómeme classic ‘Jagos’, Christian S shows his penchant for the use of interesting and complex yet heavily danceable rhythms. Title track ‘Pinch Rider’ layers crashing cymbals over a tom-tom heavy drum pattern whilst ‘Number One’ carries a thick, tribal bounce. The catchy ‘Die Durch Die Nase (Long Hot Summer Version)’ marks a more melodic moment on the EP with an infectious, sample-based groove.
