A double hit of finest quality Polish house here from Upper Silesia producer Chino, whose deep but goofy 4/4 rhythms are a spiritual cousin to revered Swedish duo Jonsson/Alter. ‘Ghost’ is a murky but unstoppable slice of electro-funk, ‘80s warehouse keyboards weaving through Linn kick drums and icy synth chords. ‘Rooftop’ is cheekier, sunnier and features a barely-restrained Balearic trance pad that’s held in check by a two-note 808.
