The Trilogy Tapes continue their assault on the eardrums of DIY hardware-driven house fans, this time with a debut EP from Rezzett. Each of the three cuts are nasty, noise driven tracks that eventually find rhythm through scruffy kick-drums. Opener “Firebomb” is motored through ticking percussion and a medley of muffled electronics whilst “Sutty” is a bitter, thrown-together track with a punk ethos. Over on the flip it is “Yayla” which bangs hardest, extending over a noisy yet somehow melodic intro before erupting into a pneumatic driven beat amidst brash samples.
