Manchester tape collector James Booth makes his house-indebted debut with ‘Reunion’, the latest from Not Not Fun sublabel 100% Silk. Like the parts of a rave you remember after sunrise it’s a driven but strangely chilled affair, with 4/4 beats and shimmering pads on ‘Fresh Faced’, and bass-heavy analogue tinkling on ‘End Tipsy’. A trip back to a love-filled ‘90s warehouse that never feels cheap.
