South London Ordnance builds on continued momentum, launching new label Aery Metals and marking the debut release with ‘He Do The Police In Different Voices’. It’s a release that sees the producer take a step away from the dance floor, displaying a mature collection of deep, textual productions. The slow unraveling of “Floating World” is a transfixing blend of shimming electronics. The remix roster is impressive, coming courtesy of former Throbbing Gristle legend Chris Carter who lends a warping touch to “Black Acre Feat Bollin” and JD Twitch of Optimo fame, beautifully molding “Modular Splash” into a bizarre, outsider house production.
