90’s UK rave mainstays Automation bring yet another one of their lost classics back to wax on their own Triple Helix Records with The Remixes EP. As the title suggests, this 1991 EP found the Gravesend duo reworking some of their old material into juggernaut floorfillers ranging from breakbeat house to euphoric, almost trance-indebted techno. ‘Doomsday’ splits the difference between the two with its acidic bass stabs and supple electric piano keys, while ‘Electricity’ aims straight for the heart.
