After a string of pretty essential 12” releases and compilation mixes from the likes of Ata, Roman Flugel and Massimiliano Pagliara, Live at Robert Johnson reveal ‘The Lifesaver Compilation’, a character-distilling collection of some of the most enduring tracks to pass through the label. Old and new companions alike there’s stuff from old hands Lauer, Flugel and Pagliara, as well as newcomes Benedikt Frey and Orson Wells. Gerd and Lauer’s Tuff City Kids even make an appearance with some blue-eyed stepper material.
