Caroline Polachek's voice has often been described as "operatic", but never before has she leaned so overtly into the artform as on ‘Non Voglio Mai Vedere Il Sole Tramontare’. Taken from Oliver Leith and Matt Copson’s Last Days opera (adapted from the Gus Van Sant film in turn based on Kurt Cobain), the aria finds Polachek spotlighting her powerful higher register, quaking over the blossoms of sorrowful strings and harps.
